2021 Marjorie Farabaugh Student Nurse Practitioner Scholarship Presentation!

Last Thursday, November 18th, Molly Sambor, LHNPA President and Debbie Costlow with 1889 Foundation presented the 2021 Annual Marjorie Farabaugh Nurse Practitioner Scholarship to Julia Snickles!

Julia is a family nurse practitioner student with Duquesne University with an expected graduation date of August, 2022. Julia grew up in Indiana County and currently resides in Westmoreland County. She currently works at Excela Health Westmoreland Hospital ICU in Greensburg, PA where she serves as a preceptor, unit charge nurse and chair of the ICU unit practice council. Julia has pledged to be an active member of LHNPA. She has stated the pride she has for her community and has pledged to serve her community and the Laurel Highlands area as an NP upon completion of her degree. It is my pleasure to present the 2021 Annual Marjorie Farabaugh Student Nurse Practitioner Scholarship to Julia Snickles. We welcome her to the organization, our meeting today and look forward to having her as a fellow nurse practitioner in the Laurel Highlands area!
