Position Description

A hospital-based cardiology program in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania is seeking an experienced Nurse Practitioner (AGACNP, AGNP, AGPCNP, or FNP) for a 13-week locum tenens assignment supporting cardiovascular and heart care services.

This on-site role involves evaluating and managing cardiology patients, collaborating with interdisciplinary teams, and coordinating care within a hospital-based cardiology unit. Providers will practice in a structured weekday schedule while contributing to comprehensive cardiovascular care.

Key Responsibilities

• Evaluate and manage cardiology patients in a hospital setting

• Collaborate with cardiologists and interdisciplinary care teams

• Prescribe and manage cardiovascular treatments

• Coordinate care plans and follow-up services

• Document assessments and treatment plans in the EHR

• Promote safe, patient-centered care environments

Qualifications

• Active Pennsylvania NP license

AGACNP, AGNP, AGPCNP, or FNP accepted

• 1–3 years NP experience preferred

• BLS certification required

• Experience with EPIC EHR preferred

Schedule & Compensation

$92–$105 per hour (~$3,690–$4,370 weekly)

• Monday–Friday | 8:00 AM–5:00 PM

• 13-week locum assignment

• On-site cardiology care setting
